Creating playful echoes of Vincent

Sculptor Bill Hudson has created this timber installation, inspired by Van Gogh's 'Undergrowth with Walking Couple'. There are hand and footholds at a low level and a soft rubber crumb surface underneath.

Maybe we'll see Bill again at future events on Van Gogh Walk through his work with Art in the Park.

This metal screen by the Old Southern Forge, almost invisible from a distance, is becoming a feature in informal ball games as well as providing opportunities for imaginative and physical play. Does it remind you of Van Gogh's brush strokes? Or make you want to step through into another world?
