What's going on behind the curtains at Van Gogh's former home?

We're really looking forward to seeing the results of Saskia's work at number 87.

This is from Artangel's newsletter:

Yes, these Eyes are the Windows

Our first London project of 2014 will be at the Georgian terraced house in Brixton where Vincent Van Gogh lived from 1873 to 1874. Artist Saskia Olde Wolbers has looked at how 87 Hackford Road came to have its blue plaque confirming Van Gogh's residence, and the ensuing impact it had on the house's owners. Her installation is led by a narrative concerning the preservation of the house, and its link to the invisible archaeological trace of this illustrious but troubled past occupant's presence.

Booking will open in early April.
